Home Office Grants Supplementary Entry Permits for University College London Foreign Scholars

Numerous foreign students will now be able to secure their offered places following talks among the Home Office and UCL wrapped up with the officials issuing additional entry permits.

Study Permit Allocation Issues

Several hundred of learners, a significant number from China, had been left in limbo after UCL miscalculated the applications for positions this session and exceeded its allocation of confirmation of acceptance for studies electronic documents authorized by the Home Office.

Some learners said they had received electronic messages from the university within the recent couple of days confirming their electronic certificates would be provided, a essential requirement to be issued a student visa. Some said they had yet to obtained confirmation.

An applicant expressed: "I'm ecstatic to be able to pursue education in the UK. We were advised various pieces of information since recent weeks, it was incredibly challenging. Geographic Impact
