Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Beach
An aircraft hovering near a crowded California shoreline abruptly began spiraling out of control, finally dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm fronds as beachgoers observed.
Videos shared online depict the chopper commencing to spiral near the beach then plunging towards the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palms and a steps close to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Update
Emergency responders reported five people were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” after the crash on the weekend.
Three individuals on the road were harmed. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
